WWW.PRIBUMI.WIN, JERUSSALEM – The Israeli occupation forces fired tear gas into Anata Primary School primary school in occupied Jerusalem on Monday morning (5/3/2018), wounding most of the students and teachers at the school, Quds Press reported.
Deputy Principal Imad Eliyan said that Israeli occupation forces “suddenly” fired tear gas canister shots at school “without any justifiable reason.”
Speaking to Quds Press, Eliyan said that most of the students, who were in the school playground, along with the teachers, had difficulty breathing and received first aid because of heavy tear gas.
He noted that the tear gas strike occurred at 11:00 am, when all 340 boys were in the schoolyard at rest.
Eliyan says that neighboring school students and teachers are also affected by the tear gas attack.
Israeli occupation forces often attack Palestinian schools, arrest young students and teachers and cause panic among students.
