The Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) officially declared ten heretical criteria.
MUI today held the Forum Synergitas Handling of Supervision and Development of Religious Flow in Indonesia. On that occasion, MUI also launched Handbook of Handling Supervision and Development of Cultivation in Indonesia.
Chairman of the Research and Research Commission (PP) of Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) Prof. Debt Ranuwijaya presented ten heretical criteria. “The flow is declared heretical when it comes to one of the ten criteria,” he said at the Central Jakarta MUI office, Thursday (26/10/2017).
“First, to deny the pillars of faith and the pillars of Islam,” said Debt.
The second criterion, believe or follow a creed that is not in accordance with the syar’i proposition, namely the Qur’an and Sunnah. Third, believe in the decline of revelation after the Qur’an.
Furthermore, the fourth characteristic, denies the authenticity and truth of the Qur’an. Fifth, interpret the Qur’an is not based on the rules of interpretation.
Prof. Debt continues, the sixth, denies the position of hadith as a source of Islamic teachings. Seventh, harass or belie the prophet and the Apostle. Eighth, denying the Prophet Muhammad as the last prophet and apostle.
Characteristic of the ninth, reduce or add the points of worship that has been established sharia. “Tenth, disbelieve the fellow Muslims just because not the group,” he said.
